Director of Tennis
Director of Tennis, Hans Römer was born and raised in The Netherlands, where he graduated with a BA Degree in Phys. Ed. at the prestigious CIOS sport College. Playing and coaching tennis soon went hand-in-hand in a nation where tennis is the #2 sport! A personal invitation from legendary coach Vic Braden was a major reason to make his move to California, where he became actively involved with the USPTA as well.
In addition to being the only USPTA Master Professional in the State of Maine (7 in New England), Hans also earned his PTR Professional 5A rating and successfully completed the USTA High Performance Program. He has been Director of Tennis at esteemed clubs such as The Dunes Club, The Portland Country Club and the Monterey Bay Racquet Club, but was also active as Zonal Coach for USTA Southern and Northern California.
Hans takes a lot of pride in his personal development by attending many Continuing Education opportunities. Hosting, speaking and participating at seminars and conferences is part of his coaching DNA. Traveling, surfing, snowshoeing and walking his yellow Labrador Kip is what Hans enjoys when he is not on the tennis court. Hans, his wife Kristin and Kip reside in the beautiful coastal town of Yarmouth, Maine.

Mario Muniesa was born in Segovia, a small town north of Madrid, Spain. When he turned 18, Mario moved to Arlington, TX, to attend The University of Texas at Arlington. While attending UTA, he graduated with a Bachelors in Economics and Finance, and a Master of Science in Quantitative Finance (MSQF). Mario also played for “The Mavericks” Division I tennis team during his bachelors pursue, where he and his teammates won one Sun Belt Conference tournament, ranked among the best 60 schools in the nation, and had various individual and doubles NCAA appearances, among other accolades. In his spare time, Mario loves hiking, skateboarding, or watching Netflix.
